European Breakdown Cover - Coverage Protection Abroad

When you travel in the United States, you may cross borders into other North American countries, but there aren't that many, only a good handful. When you go to Europe, you must be more specific about your destination because there are fifty separate countries to visit. European breakdown cover has to be diverse because of the many different political and cultural climates involved.

Traveling over the entire European landscape presents a language problem for most people. There are many distinct languages, and 230 varieties. North America had roughly 300 languages when Columbus came ashore in the West Indies, but today there aren't that many distinct languages, so travel is easier as far as language is concerned.

The number of borders that you cross in North America can't even come close to the situation in Europe, but European breakdown cover is just as important to the person with a problem, only it is much more complicated.

Would you really want to consider going to Europe and expecting to visit many countries if you didn't have breakdown coverage? It wouldn't be much more logical or intelligent than blindfolding yourself and walking on the edge of a cliff.

When you obtain coverage, every participating country in Europe has to network with the company your policy is with so that you aren't left waiting for hours if you have a breakdown. This is not as simple as in the United States, and you might expect to wait a little longer for assistance depending on where you are at the time.
